I recently found my perfect property and am moving forward with finding an agent to purchase the property. I have been asked to sign a brokerage disclosure form and want to ensure this document protects me. What is the purpose of this document, and why am I being asked to sign it?

The brokerage disclosure protects you and your broker from any malicious practice. If you are concerned about signing this document, I recommend contacting a real estate transaction attorney to discuss why this document is part of the deal.
